DYB, Inc., the premier community youth baseball program in the southeast, is pleased to announce that in response to numerous requests from our leagues for a softball option for their girls ages 6-18, we have launched Diamond Youth Softball (DYS) for the 2024 season. The addition of DYS will allow communities to franchise their girls and boys programs through a single organization for all of their softball and baseball needs. 

By building a strong organization that starts at the local league level, Diamond Youth Softball hopes to teach girls respect for others, how to concentrate under stress, set and achieve goals, and to accept responsibility and failure. Like DYB, DYS emphasizes fair play, honesty, sportsmanship and patriotism. Through congenial fellowship and positive adult role models the goal of DYS is to help the participants further their development both physically and emotionally. The foundation of our programs are rooted in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go and, when he is old, he will not depart from it.”  

Diamond Youth Baseball and Diamond Youth Softball are non-discriminatory community based programs which promote fair play for all participants. Diamond Youth Baseball and Diamond Youth Softball do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, ethnicity or disability. 

Diamond Youth Baseball and Diamond Youth Softball are all-volunteer organizations. All national, state and district directors are volunteers that are elected by the leagues they serve. This ‘labor of love’ is what sets us apart from our competitors.
